Pilates helps to strengthen and tone the entire body. It is one of the most effective forms of exercise to change body shape and create tone because it targets all of the muscles in the body. The main muscles targeted in Pilates Mat are the Core Stabilising muscles of the body such as your abdominals, pelvic floor, back, glutes and neck muscles (Studio Pilates, May 2017 manual). We also work the leg, arm and shoulder muscles, giving you total body conditioning. Bookings are essential (please bring yoga mat).
